The art of “Sky Painter,” David Katz, will be featured at Coatesville Savings Bank from June 14 to Aug. 31.
COATESVILLE » Art Partners Studio will present the art of “Sky Painter,” David Katz, from June 14 to Aug. 31 at the Coatesville Savings Bank.
An evening to meet the artist is planned for June 14 from 5-7 p.m. This reception, held at the Coatesville Savings Bank at 185 East Lincoln Highway is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
David Katz’s path to becoming an artist began in a commercial art business of his own cre-
ation. Following this stage, he dedicated five years to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and has acquired the title, “The Sky Painter.”
“In Chester County, all you have to do is look up, and there’s your inspiration right there,” said Katz, who now lives in Chester County.
Art Partners Studio representatives said that his upcoming solo show is meant to illustrate the hopefulness he sees in Coatesville.
“If they feel the excitement I feel being in Coatesville, that’s all I care (about),” Katz said.
He recently adopted a son, which he says wouldn’t have been able to happen if not for his involvement with art in the city.
Art Partners Studio representatives thanked the Coatesville Savings Bank employees for their sponsorship of the David Katz exhibition, and their encouragement of art in Coatesville.
