The following retail theft incidents are from police reports:
West Whiteland police said Boby Angel, 37, of Medford, New York, was charged with retail theft, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property after an investigation into a theft of money on May 12. Police said during an exchange to purchase a television for $2,332 that Angel reportedly was able to confuse the cashier and take back $1,400 in cash. He left the store with the television, but reportedly returned the television for cash approximately ten minutes later which resulted in the loss to the store, according to police. Angel was identified after investigators made contact with a member of the Northumbria Police Department in the United Kingdom who identified Angel in the surveillance images. A warrant was issued for Angel. Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911.
West Whiteland police said Darrien Allen, 20, and Kylah London, 18, both of Coatesville, were arrested after a reported theft of about $51 at the Party City store on May 25. Officers made contact with them and charged Allen with retail theft, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a criminal summons. Police said London was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released.
West Whiteland police said Marcia Milanovic, 61, of Waynesboro, New Jersey, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on May 5 after officers responded to the Boscov’s at the Exton Square Mall for an alleged $182 theft. Milanovic was charged by criminal summons.
West Whiteland police said Nervin Bracetti, 37, of Chester in Delaware County, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property on May 23 after an investigation into a series of alleged thefts totaling $1,123 between May 6 and May 22 at the Kohl’s store in the 200 block of West Lincoln Highway. An arrest warrant was obtained for Bracetti and officers are attempting to locate him. Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911.
West Whiteland police said Joshua Burden, 37, of Philadelphia, was charged with retail theft, theft by deception, receiving stolen property and access device fraud after an investigation into an alleged $163 theft from the Wawa store located in the unit block of West Boot Road on May 21. A warrant was obtained for Burden and investigators are attempting to locate him. Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911.
West Whiteland police said Deanna McCue, 70, of Elverson, was charged with theft by deception and receiving stolen property on May 22 after officers responded to the Boscov’s store for an alleged $312 theft by an employee. McCue was charged by criminal summons.
