Kurt William Hoffman of West Chester

Kurt William Hoffman, 61, died Monday, June 26th, 2017 at his parents’ home while visiting in California.

He was the husband of Kathy Hoffman, and they were married for 29 years.

Born and raised in Newtown Square, he was the son of Ted Hoffman (recently deceased Sunday, June 25th, 2017), and Peg Hoffman, who now resides in California.

Kurt was employed at Boeing Helicopter Company for 34 years. He had a long career there where he was devoted and committed to a strong work ethic. He was involved in the development of the V-22 aircraft, and most recently he was an inspector for refurbished transmissions on the Chinook Helicopter, which is used in military operations.

Kurt was most happy spending time with his family and friends boating on the Chesapeake. He enjoyed marlin fishing and riding waves in the ocean. He also enjoyed the peace and quiet of his home.

In addition to his wife and parents, Kurt is survived by his two daughters, Kelly (24) and Jody (22), his sister Linda MacEllven (Eric), his niece Morgan O’Donnell in Michigan, and his nephew Brian Hoffman in California.

Memorial services will be held Friday, July 21st at 11:00 am with a luncheon served, at Chester Valley Golf Club 430 W. Swedesford Rd, Malvern, PA 19355.
