Faye R. Taraschi of Downingtown

Faye R. Taraschi, age 81 of Downingtown passed away peacefully on Friday August 18, 2017 at the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Paul Taraschi with whom she shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Atglen, Pa, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie Thornton Hammond.

Faye was a 1954 graduate of Scott High School; she worked for a time at Pepperidge farm and the Taraschi family businesses. Faye was a member of St. Joseph Church in Downingtown where she was a daily Communicant for many years. She was a known artist working with oils, stills, portrait and landscape artistry.

In addition to her husband Paul, Faye is survived by her children, Sister Marie Bernadette (Lisa) Taraschi, IHM ,Christopher ( Sue ), Stephen ( Sharon ), Leslie Taraschi, Paul Jr. ( Piera ) and Heidi Taraschi. Survived by siblings Janet, William and James Hammond and grandchildren Kelly, Katie, Nicholas, Jack, Sam, Sydney, Joseph and Sophia.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Thursday August 24, 2017 at St Joseph Church 338 Manor Ave Downingtown. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church
