Edward M. Jordan Sr. of Coatesville

Edward M. Jordan, Sr. age 90, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late Howard Jordan and the late Sarah Harry Jordan.

Edward was a machine oiler at Lukens Steel Co., retiring after 45 years of service.

He was a member of the Swayne, Campbell, Testa VFW Post No. 5467 in Kennett Square.

Edward enjoyed traveling, planting his flowers, trains, planes, antique cars, doing crossword puzzles and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Edward M. Jordan, Jr. of Coatesville, PA; three daughters, Barbara J. Myers of Coatesville, PA, Carol C. Tucker of Avondale, PA and Eleanor M. McMillan and her husband Kevin of Lewes Beach, DE; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Edward was predeceased by one son, Jonathan “Josh” Jordan, one daughter, Monica Geraldine Jordan, two sisters, Virginia Pitch and Dorothy Landis and one brother, Don Jordan.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 10:00-11:00 on Saturday morning, August 26, 2017, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA. His Funeral service will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.
