Fall services
St. Paul’s United Church of Christ: The church, at 101 Worthington Road, Exton welcomes the community to services for the fall schedule. Beginning Sunday, Sept. 10, two worship services will be held. The 9 a.m. service is an informal gathering with a variety of acoustic music, and the 10:30 a.m. service is more traditional. Children are welcome to participate in Sunday School during the 9 a.m. service. 2017 Apple Butter Festival
United Church of Christ: East Goshen, Route 352, (North Chester Road), West Chester. From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 the Apple Butter festivities include apple butter prepared over open fire; silent auction; chance to win $400 cash in golf ball drop; children’s activities; grilled food, baked sale items and rafter/vendor booths. Community Fun Day
Grove Church: Enjoy hot dogs, ice cream and toppings from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24 at the church, 490 West Boot Road, West Chester. The family friendly event includes live music, a Moon Bounce, face painting, balloon animals, much more. Music is provided by Grove’s Choirs and “Pieces of One” Praise Band. Services, events at Holy Trinity The Church of the Holy Trinity: The church, 212 S. High St., West Chester, will resume its regular Sunday service schedule Sept. 10. Rite 1 service will be at 8 a.m. and the Rite 11 service will be at 10:30 a.m. Nursery will be provided for the 10:30service. The Wednesday Healing Service is at 9 a.m. in the Chapel of the Ascension. Free Parking is available in the Union Street parking lot. Catacomb Closet, Holy Trinity’s Thrift Shop will reopen Friday, Sept. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations may be delivered to the church during regular office hours Monday thru Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Trinity Bookworms - open to all lovers of reading both fiction and nonfiction resumes it’s meeting at Holy Trinity Monday, Sept. 11 from 2 -3 p.m. “The Book of Joy” by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama will be discussed. All are welcome. The Church of the Holy Trinity will celebrate the beginning of the new Family Formation Program with it’s first ever Block Party on Sunday, Sept. 17 after the 10:30 a.m. service. Enjoy food, fun, games, prizes, and fellowship.
