Lorraine Warren of Downingtown
Lorraine Warren, 72, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017 at Paoli Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Alan Warren, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Costanzo Benedetto.
Lorraine worked in the fixed income investment field for several organizations, and retired from the Lincoln Financial Group a few years ago. She was an extreme animal lover and enjoyed feeding the birds and taking in stray cats. She was a true patron of the performing arts, and also supported military veterans and law enforcement organizations. She was very active with local and Philadelphia Law Enforcement.
In addition to her husband, Lorraine is survived by her brother, Ray Benedetto and nine nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marnita Schenkel and Cora Marie Benedetto.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
