“We are honored to display the works of our many talented faculty members, who teach a variety of classes for all ages and ability levels,” said Nancy Campbell, executive director of the Wayne Art Center. “Each year, we are amazed at the variety of our faculty pieces and the skill they show. This exhibition is also a great way for students to choose a class based on the style of their favorite faculty members.”
Students of Wayne Art Center will also exhibit plein air works from the annual Summertime Paint-Outs in the Vidinghoff Gallery during the same dates as the faculty show. These summertime paintings capture public and private landscape and destination locations from Willowbrook Farm in Malvern, Chanticleer Garden and St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wayne and Plumsock Farm in Willistown. A reception for these artists also is Sunday, Sept. from 3 to 5 p.m.
Fall Into Art, an exhibition featuring artwork by ARTsisters, a Philadelphia area-based group of professional women visual artists whose creative affiliation empowers one another as well as their community, also will on display during the same time period. These 24 artists will show their works in the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery with a reception Sept. 10.
