FALL FUN IN MORGANTOWN
When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Weaver’s Orchard, 40 Fruit Lane
More Details: The community is invited to Fall Family Fun Days at the orchard which will be every Saturday until the end of October. People will be able to pick their own apples and pumpkins. There will also be hay rides, a mega slide, inflatable obstacle course and more. Admission for children 3 to 12 are $10 and for those 13 and up, it’s $15.50. Children 2 and under are free. FITNESS OBSTACLES IN BRIDGEPORT
When: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Bridgeport Memorial Park, 834 Grove St.
More Details: The 2nd Annual “Are Your Tough Enough?” event includes obstacles that are the current requirements of Infantry Marines. Activities include sprints, high crawls, low crawls and more. The cost to register is $16. MEDITATION IN WEST CHESTER
When: Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. Where: Goshen Family Chiropractic, 105 Westtown Road
More Details: The free event will include mindfulness based stress reduction techniques. Beginners are welcomed to attend as well as those experienced in meditation. Kids are also invited to join. WALK IN NEWTOWN SQUARE
When: Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Ridley Creek State Park – Pavillion #17, 351 Gradyville Road
More Details: The walk is two miles long. After completing it, participants will food, music and other festivities. Walkers are encouraged to raise funds or sponsor themselves as part of a Walk for Life fundraiser through the Delaware County Pregnancy Center.
