Shirley Ann Shearer of Coatesville

Shirley Shearer passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Heatherwood assisted living in Honey Brook, Pa.

Born on May 16, 1930 at Martins Corner, Pa she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Helen Beecher Trumbower.

She was employed by the United States Postal Services, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed square dancing, traveling, spending time with children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by three daughters, Christine Wischuck of Rockton, Pa; Marguerite Doan of Coatesville; Cheryl Balzarano of Atglen and one son Robert Arnold Jr. of Coatesville; two stepdaughters, Wanda King of Glenmore, Susan Shearer of Washington State, and one step-son Scott Shearer of West Chester; twentyone grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Shirley was predeceased by her first husband of 34 years Robert Arnold Sr. of Modena and second husband of 19 years, Charles Shearer of Coatesville, a sister Arlene Lang of Philadelphia; granddaughter Dana Wilson of Rockton, Pa and granddaughter Kathy Shearer of Coatesville.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11:00 am, with a time of visitation from 10:00 am till the service at the Maclean-Chamberlain Funeral Home.

Interment will be private.
