John A. Krisch, formerly of Exton, PA

John A. Krisch, 89, of Ocala, FL formerly of Exton, PA, passed away on Saturday December 23, 2017 at Palm Garden of Ocala Nursing Home in Ocala, FL. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 11, 1928. John was the son of the late Stephen and Susanna Krisch. He was the husband of the late Florence G. Krisch who passed away in 1989.

John was a graduate of the Bok Technical High School in Philadelphia and Temple University. He served in the Merchant Marines in WWII in the South Pacific and then in the US Army during the Korean War where he was stationed in Alaska and Camp Pickett, VA. John was the Chief Engineer for Elliot Lewis Corp in Philadelphia before leaving to start his own mechanical service company from where he retired in 1983.

He is survived by his sons Charles G. Krisch (Judi) of Parker, CO and John A Krisch Jr. (Kathy) of Coatesville PA; three granddaughters, Tara Krisch of Moorpark, CA; Amy Krisch of Huntington Beach, CA and Kelsey Krisch of Parker, CO; and one sister, Carol Golla (Joseph) of Media, PA.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Peter, Joseph, Frank, and Stephen; and three sisters: Elizabeth, Anne and Susan.

Interment will be at Windsor Baptist Church in Eagle, PA at the convenience of the family.
