Pepperidge Farm job fair set for Wednesday
The Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Pepperidge Farm and Task Management Inc. to bring quality jobs to the Downingtown-Thorndale region.
A job fair, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Wednesday, March 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Downing town T horn dale Regional Chamber of Commerce office at 216 East Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown Borough. The Chamber office is located in the Dane Décor building on Lancaster Avenue.
“We are excited to host this job fair for our community and to partner with Pepperidge Farm, a longtime Chamber member,” said Chamber President Michael Glover.
Downingtown’s Pepperidge Farm location needs to fill about 40 to 50 positions for first- and second-shift plant production, along with third-shift sanitation.
Preferred candidates will have experience in the areas of food production, conveyor belt, machine operations/machine cleaning, blending, lifting, mixing, food tech, or general warehouse or sanitation. Those without experience are also encouraged to apply. Reliable hard working individuals, ready for a challenge and a successful career in food manufacturing are being sought. A high School diploma or GED is required and candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
Interested candidates are encouraged to attend the job fair. Pre-registration is not required. Those attending should be prepared to complete a brief background/job history form, followed by an interview.
