Comedy Night benefits Dictionary Project

Three standup comedians will provide an evening of spirited comedy to benefit the dictionary project of the Rotary Club of West Chester.

Preforming on Saturday, April 21 will be profession­al comedians, Tony Deyo, Troy Moore and Rotary’s own Glen Jensen, appearing at the Reactors Comedy Club at the Quality Inn and Suites, 943 South High Street (at Route 202), West Chester. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; show time is 8:30 p.m. Admission is $20, with proceeds benefiting the Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project.

For tickets, order online at www.reactorsco­medyclub.com. Tickets will also be available at the door. A full bar and food will be available for purchase. Jensen, who has entertaine­d the West Chester Club and Rotary District 7450 on various occasions, is an actor and standup comedian who has performed in New York, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Philadelph­ia. Deyo has appeared on “The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson and on the “Conan O’Brien Show.” The event is open to the public.

The Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project provides over a thousand dictionari­es to second-grade students in the West Chester Area School District.

The dictionary project is part of the club’s Rotary Readers Program, where Rotarians and spouses go to elementary schools every other week during the school year and read to second graders. The distributi­on of dictionari­es to each student is a highlight at the end of the school year.
