Coatesville police arrest fugitive after brief foot chase
On May 17, at 8:31 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of Pennsylvania Avenue when they observed a person later identified as Drevon Echols, of the 600 block of East Chestnut Street, who was wanted from multiple departments on multiple warrants. Officers approached Echols on foot and he ran from police. The foot pursuit was brief as Officers were able to catch Echols in the backyard of 30 Pennsylvania Avenue. Echols was then transported and housed for morning arraignment and will face new charges for flight to avoid apprehension and related charges.

FRAUD » On May 17, Coatesville Police were made aware by the manager of the Turkey Hill at 1014 East Lincoln Highway that there was a skimmer found on the outside ATM in front of the store. The skimmer and accessories were collected for evidence and the case was referred to the criminal investigation division.
DRUG CHARGES » On May 15, at 10:56 p.m., officers were dispatched for a physical domestic. Upon arrival, police met with the victim who had bruising and discoloration of her eye due to a physical altercation that had taken place inside the residence. Darnell Green, of the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, was taken into custody for the assault. Upon searching Green, he was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, and a large amount of PCP. Green was
transported back to the police station where he was processed and housed for arraignment.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » On May 16 at 10:52 p.m., Kellie Gibbs, 46,of the 300 block of Harry Road, Coatesville, came to the police station to report one of the tires of her rental car was intentionally flattened in front of 110 Virginia Avenue. Gibbs said that she believes she knows the person who punctured the tire but did not observe the incident. Coatesville Police are asking anyone who may have observed the incident to contact Officer Snyder at 610-384-2300.
FIGHT » On May 16 at 8:55 p.m., Coatesville Police responded to the Super Dollar Mart, 809 East Lincoln Highway, for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police made contact with a group of females, who said that Amirrah McMillan, 25, of the 300 block of Lincoln Highway, had entered the Super Dollar Mart while they were shopping and initiated a physical fight with one of the girls. McMillan then fled the store prior to police arrival. McMillan was cited for disorderly conduct as a result of the fight.

DUI » Leonel Garcia-Garcia, 21, of West Grove was arrested and charged with DUI and related traffic offenses after the 2002 Chevrolet he was operating was stopped for erratic driving. The incident occurred on April 1 at 2:17 a.m., in the 8900 block of Gap Newport Pike, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Garcia-Garcia, police observed indicators suggesting intoxication, and field sobriety tests confirmed impairment.
DUI » Zeiban MondragonReza, 25, of Toughkenamon was arrested and charged with DUI (Controlled Substances) and related traffic offenses, as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act , after the 2014 Chevrolet he was driving was stopped for swerving out of its lane of travel on multiple occasions. The incident occurred on March 31 at. 1:33 p.m., in the 1200 block of Baltimore Pike, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Mondragon-Reza, police were met with the odor of marijuana, as smoke billowed out of the vehicle.
DUI » Hannah C. Rash, 18, of New Castle, Delaware was arrested and charged with DUI (Controlled Substances), as well as with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act (Act 64), and a traffic offense, after the Hyundai she was operating was stopped for an equipment violation. The incident occurred on March 31 at 1:33 a.m., in the 1800 block of Baltimore Pike, in New Garden Township. Upon making contact with Rash, police detected the odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
TERRORISTIC THREATS » Edward J. Lenner, Jr., 52, of Landenberg was charged with terroristic threats and harassment, following a series a threatening text messages and voicemails that he is alleged to have sent to the victim over a 13hour period, on March 28 and March 29. The victim was able to provide police with the actual messages sent by Lenner. An arrest warrant was obtained and Lenner surrendered to police. He was arraigned and released on $10,000 unsecured bail pending a preliminary hearing. DRUG CHARGES » Michael K. Horkey, 33, of Newark,
Delaware was arrested and charged with violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act (Act 64), as well as with a traffic offense. The incident occurred on April 5 at 7:05 a.m., on Prospect Avenue, in West Grove Borough. The 2004 Toyota Horkey was driving was stopped for speeding, during an enforcement detail. Upon making contact with
Horkey, police detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A subsequent search produced marijuana and related drug paraphernalia in several locations inside the vehicle.
HARASSMENT » Jose G. Lopez-Nunez, 26, of Toughkenamon was cited for harassment, after he allegedly threatened to strike a 21-year-old female with his fists. The incident occurred on April 5 at 8:44 p.m., in the 200 block of Maple Lane, in New Garden Township.
