David Leslie Ralph passed away on Tuesday, June 26, after an extended illness. He was 63.

A resident of Downingtow­n, David is survived by his wife, Dominique, and by his sons Patrick David Ralph and Christophe­r Dominick Ralph and their wives. He is also survived by his brother Gordon Maurice Ralph of Atlanta, Georgia, and his sister Linda Ralph Arner of West Chester.

A well-known presence in the community, David co-owned and operated Marchwood True Value Hardware with his wife for over 40 years. Locals and family alike came to David for his breadth of knowledge and expertise on all things home and auto repair.

David was well known to the community as the owner for over 40 years, along with his wife, of Marchwood True Value Hardware, a mecca for local do-it-yourselfer­s, homeowners, and contractor­s.

David was an avid car enthusiast was an early and long-standing member of the Valley Forge Mustang Club of Chester County and exhibited cars at the Hershey Car Museum and at numerous car shows. He was also a member of the Chester County Car Club.

He graduated from Downingtow­n High School in 1973 where he met Dominique, his wife of 43 years.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the AACA Museum Inc., in Hershey Pa. can be made.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11am at
