Ernest C. Inmon, Jr. of West Chester

Ernest C. Inmon, Jr., 68 of West Chester, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He was the husband of Claudia Dedman Inmon.

Born August 29, 1949 in Plainview, TX he was the son of the late Ernest C. Inmon, Sr. and the late Winnie W. Fraser Inmon.

He was a 1971 graduate of Texas Tech University.

Ernest worked in the Cotton Seed Oil Business and Automotive Leather Business prior to purchasing and becoming President and CEO of U.S. Axle Inc. in Pottstown, PA.

He helped found the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group now known as Beacon with over 1,000 members. He enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake, golfing and gardening.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Matthew C. Inmon (Megan), and S. Brian Inmon (Denise); sister, Jane McVay; grandchildren, Abby, Evan, Lauren, Cate and soon to be Molly.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www. DellaFH.com; followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00am.

Interment will be private.
