Alice D. Milliron Brinton, age 74, of Laceyville, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA passed away on Sunday morning, September 23, 2018. Alice was born on December 13, 1943 in West Chester, PA the daughter of the late Ralph R. Milliron Sr., and Mary Linden Hickman Milliron. She belonged to several 4-H Clubs and was Vice President and President of Future Homemakers of America. Alice was a graduate of Downingtow­n High School with the Class of 1961. Throughout high school she worked at the Downingtow­n Farmers Market selling men’s clothing. Alice was a graduate of the Philadelph­ia Modeling School in 1960 and was a contestant in the 1960 Miss West Chester Pageant. In October 1961 Alice married Paul Brinton and had three children, Sherry, Thomas, and Timothy. Alice was appointed Deputy Constable for two years of West Goshen, PA. From 1977-1990, she was the owner-director of the House of Serenity. In 1980 she founded the West Chester 307 Club. She was a member of Dr. Bob and Bill W. 12 Step Programs in Chester County. Alice was also a real estate agent for Century 21 in West Chester. Alice was very family oriented, she loved having parties for her grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children. She loved being surrounded by her family, her family was her whole world and she loved each family member very much. Alice is survived by her three children, Sherry Dulaney (Carl); Thomas Brinton Sr; and Timothy Brinton; 9 grandchild­ren and 6 great-grandchild­ren. Also surviving are her brothers Ralph R. Milliron Jr. (Gloria) and James Milliron (Kelly) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her long-time family friend David Ross. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main Street Laceyville, PA. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
