Margaret Gottschall of West Chester

Margaret “Peggy” Gottschall, 71, of West Chester, died Sunday morning, September 23, 2018, in Chester County Hospital.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Gottschall for 21 years.

She is survived by her sisters, Patricia Vargo (Wayne) and Adele BonShannon, mother to David (Susan) Nichols and Paul Nichols, step-mother to Kimber (Stephen) Malinowski. She leaves behind five much loved grandchildren, Madelyn, Gabriel, Amelia, Genevieve, and Daniel.

She is the daughter of the late Anton and Margaret (Rocco) Bon. Peggy grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Penn State University, the University of Pittsburgh Pharmacy School and the University of Pennsylvania.

She was a retired pharmacist and masters degree chemist who last worked for Pfizer Chemicals.

She recently achieved Master Gardener status through Penn State and was Director of Birthright of West Chester for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Birthright of West Chester, Inc., 112 S High Street, West Chester, PA 19382.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 1325 E. Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380, where the family will greet guests starting at 9:30 a.m.
