FATAL CRASH INVESTIGATION >> The Kennett Township Police continue to investigate a fatal vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Deer Pond Drive and Kennett Pike in Chadds Ford on Nov. 19, 2018. At approximately 3:47 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of Deer Pond Drive and Kennett Pike, for a single vehicle crash.
Diane Sezna, age 67 from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania was traveling northeast on Deer Pond Drive, at its intersection with Kennett Pike in a 2001 Toyota sedan. Sezna’s vehicle traveled off the roadway into a pond of water at that location. The vehicle was located partially submerged in the water.
Sezna was transported to Wilmington Hospital by the Longwood Fire Department Emergency Medical Unit, were she was pronounced deceased at 06:48 am.

CREDIT CARD THEFT >>The Kennett Township Police Department is investigating a theft of a credit card that was stolen out of a vehicle in the unit block of Nine Gates Road located in Chadds Ford. The card was used at multiple locations in the Wilmington area. For anyone who may have any information is requested to call the Kennett Township Police Department, Detective Amanda Wenrich or Officer Elysia Simmons at 610388-2847.
