John Charles Huber

On May 15, 1943, Herbert Samuel Huber and his wife, Dora Virginia Dunford welcomed John Charles Huber to the world. He spent his younger years causing mischief in West Chester, throwing snowballs off the third floor balcony, riding dirt bikes, playing soccer, and being a big brother to Virginia Sapovits (later uncle to Jason Morris). He was a man of his word and taught his children Chuck, Laura, Rachel, and Brandon the same. Before moving to Landenberg, PA, John and his wife Beth lived in Arden, DE. A man of practicality, he could be found at any party sporting a fork in his breast pocket (he never missed dessert). He loved his kids chosen partners (Jackie Huber and Eric Broadbent), his grandchildren (Jessie, Jordan, Owen, and Amelia), white chocolate, and classic & southern rock. John passed away December 4, 2018. His final days were spent surrounded by family, friends and an awesome hospice team. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be Monday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at Avondale Presbyterian Church, 461 Pennsylvania Ave, Avondale, PA 19311.
