Dallas was born on October 8, 1981 in West Chester to Laurence and Patricia (Sweet) Shumaker. She loved spending time with her family exploring, trying new restaurants, camping, reading stories, singing songs, playing superheroes and princesses and even assembling the occasional Lego set. She was a traveler — a few of her favorite destinations were Colorado, New Orleans and Asheville.
Dallas was generous with her time, energy and love and quick to make you feel like you were best friends. She volunteered with City Year Philadelphia after high school, supporting students in high-need areas. Most recently she hosted Eat, Drink, Give where she raised thousands for Stand Up to Cancer, an organization dedicated to finding cures for cancer.
Dallas was a treasured member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Malvern where she also worked as Church Administrator for the past four years. In addition to this, she took great pride in her work as a Senior Director and advocate for health protective laws with Beautycounter.

She is also survived by her father-in-law, John M. Genter (Coeli); motherin-law, Mary Beth Genter; sister-in-law Emily Wyatt (Gary) and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
