- Submitted by Suzette Moyer Saint Mary Catholic School

Congratulations to Roman Guagnozzi a fifth grader at Saint Mary Catholic School and the only winner from Montgomery County whose art work was chosen to represent the month of June in the 2019 Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Drug-Free Calendar.

Fifth grade students across the Commonwealth were invited to create an original work of art illustrating a drug free message. Thirteen winners were chosen out of a competitive field of 912 entries. The annual calendar contest is about more than just celebrating students’ artwork. The students’ art illustration had to relay a very serious message about drug use prevention.

In addition, Guagnozzi won $529 for his PA529 College Saving Program.
