COLLEAGUES HONOR RETIRING SERGEANT

Sgt. Robert R. Greenwood served 34 years in law enforcement

The start of a new year marked the end of a long career for one Lower Pottsgrove Police sergeant.

On Thursday, more than 40 police officers representing over a dozen area police agencies along with fire, rescue and EMS personnel, turned out to wish Lower Pottsgrove Township Police Sgt. Robert R. Greenwood a happy retirement.

Police celebrated Greenwood’s career, which spanned 34 years, with a parade and gathering at the Lower Pottsgrove Township building.
