Men at large following home invasion robbery

Police are investigat­ing a home invasion robbery involving a handgun in West Chester on Friday.

WEST CHESTER >> Police are investigat­ing a home invasion robbery involving a handgun in West Chester on Friday.

On Jan. 25, at 7:46 p.m. West Chester Police officers responded to the 500 block of South Walnut Street for the report of a home invasion robbery involving a handgun.

The victims told police they were playing video games and listening to music when two black males entered the room. The first man displayed a black automatic handgun and demanded marijuana, cellphones and money. He then pointed the gun at the seven victims and collected their money and phones. The second suspect stood by the door, police said.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, standing approximat­ely 5-foot 8-inches and weighing 190 pounds, with a stocky build, short hair, scruffy facial hair, and black frame prescripti­on glasses. He was, wearing a red jacket with a hood pulled over his head and a tattoo on his right hand (same hand he held the gun with).

The second suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, standing 6-foot 4-inches, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, with a slender build, medium dread locks, medium complexion, wearing a black jacket with a hood over his head.

The men left the residence via the front door and are believed to have gone north on Walnut Steet and east on Lacey Street The suspects discarded the cellphones at Lacey Street and Mechanics Alley.
