Students arrested for vaping at Owen J. Roberts High School

NORTH COVENTRY >> Two students at Owen J. Roberts High School were arrested after police found them to be in possession of a THC cartridge and vaping devices by the assistant principal. The first incident occurred on Feb. 7 at 9:09 a.m. and the second at 1:18 p.m. Arrested were two male students, ages 15 and 17. Charges were filed in district court and a preliminar­y hearing is pending.

OVERDOSE DEATH >> On Feb. 17, police found a 40-year-old man unconsciou­s on the 2700 block of West Chester Road in West Bradford. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. DRUG CHARGES >> An 18-year-old Downingtow­n woman was arrested Feb. 14 at 1:02 p.m. after police responded to a request for a patrol check over concern for a vehicle parked for an extended period of time with occupants in the vehicle. After investigat­ion, police found marijuana. FIREARMS THEFT >> Police are looking for the person who stole a Cobra Firearms .38 revolver from a home located at 137 Azelea Circle in Honey Brook sometime Jan. 28 or Jan. 29.

hen Police arrested Courtney M. Zerbe, 24, of West Chester for possession of marijuana and possession of drug parapherna­lia after she was stopped for a traffic violation on South Matlack Street at Snyder Avenue.

DUI >> Erica Janelle Scott, 29, of West Chester was arrested for DUI on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 1:50 a.m. following a traffic stop on Route 202 north, just south of Dilworthto­wn Road in Chadds Ford Township.
