Police seek man who assaulted woman on trail in Charlestown
CHARLESTOWN >> Police are looking for a man who assaulted a woman as she was walking on a trail in Charlestown.
Police said that on July 29 at 8:30 a.m., a 46-yearold Malvern woman was walking on a trail in the area of Sagewood Road and Oakbrook Court when she was assaulted by a white man. The woman was transported to Paoli Hospital by a private vehicle where she received treatment for her injuries. Anyone with knowledge of the attack should contact the State Police at Embreeville, at 610- 486-6280.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> On Aug. 4 at 7:58 pm., police were dispatched to the 300 block Madison Street for a criminal mischief report. A black sedan sustained multiple damage estimated at $1,000. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >> On Aug. 5 at 5:40 p.m. police were dispatched to the 300 block Victoria Drive for a criminal mischief report. The victim reported having tires flattened. WARRANT >> On Aug. 2 at 6:47 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop after witnessing the operator driving recklessly. Contact was made with Ronald Lee Donnell Sr., 50, of Coatesville. The operator had an active bench warrant for his arrest. Donnell Sr. was taken into police custody without incident. WARRANT >> On Aug. 4 at 1:46 a.m., police officers were on patrol in the area of South Fourth Avenue and East Lincoln Highway and observed Jocelyn Rosa-Lopez, 18, who had an active arrest warrant for an assault related incident. She was taken into custody without incident, processed and held for arraignment. WARRANT >> On Aug. 1 at 8:19 a.m., a 2000 Nissan XTerra was observed parked with two occupants attempting to hide within the vehicle from the passing police vehicle. Police conducted a stop, and an active warrant for the arrest of Marquise Howard was shown after police ran the vehicle registration. He was taken into custody and held for arraignment prior to his commitment to Chester County Prison.

DRUG CHARGES >> On June 23 at 9:39 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police Embreeville conducted a traffic stop on US 202 south, East Whiteland. It was found that a 25-year-old woman from North Wales was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and later released. DUI >> A 27-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on July 20 at 1:32 a.m. on Downingtown Pike, at Shadyside Road in West Bradford. THEFT >> Police were dispatched to RV Industries on Poplar Road in Honey Brook Township for the report of a theft of Nickel Alloy from RV lndustries. About $1,500 worth of Nickel Alloy was stolen from RV Industries. Anyone with information should contact police at 610-486-6280. DRUG CHARGES >> Ashley Marie Stine, 35, of Coatesville was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop for counterfeit emissions and inspection stickers on July 25 at 1:59 p.m. DUI >> An 18-year-old West Chester woman was arrested for DUI at a DUI checkpoint at 1121 Downingtown Pike in West Bradford on July 20, police said. THEFT >> On Aug. 7, police responded to 1200 block of Romansville Rd., West Bradford, for a report of theft from an unlocked vehicle. During the investigation is was determined that $40 cash was removed from the victim’s vehicle. DRUG CHARGES >> On June 16, police were on routine patrol when a traffic stop was conducted. A 21-yearold man from Coatesville was Driving under the Influence of alcohol. It was also determined that the front seat passenger, who lives in Coatesville, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia. The passenger was also taken into custody.
