Comitta among honorees at chamber banquet

WEST CHESTER >> State Rep. Carolyn Comitta, event caterer John Serock Catering, and local theater Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will be celebrated as some of the best in West Chester at Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce’s 2020 annual banquet, slated to take place at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern on Feb. 6, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.

Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet, sponsored by Arthur Hall Insurance, is an evening centered around honoring the people, businesses, and organizations that most influenced the West Chester community during the previous year.

The 2020 Annual Banquet will honor Carolyn Comitta as the 2019 Citizen of the Year for her dedication to helping the greater West Chester community, while John Serock Catering will receive the 2019 Business of the Year for their entrepreneurial spirit, and Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will take home the 2019 Community Service Organization Award for their extensive community service efforts impacting West Chester.

“We are excited to celebrate these very deserving winners at the 2020 Annual Banquet,” said Mark Yoder, president and CEO of Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce. “Each of our winners has proven their heart and dedication to making the greater West Chester region a great place to live, and we are happy to honor them for their services.”
