FIRST TEAM DJ FECHTMAN, DOWNINGTOW­N EAST

The Cougar senior, the 2020Daily Local News Boys Swimmer of the Year, finished in the top 12 at the 2021PIAA 3A state championsh­ips in two individual events – he was ninth in the boys 100 back (50.86) and placed 12th in the boys’ 100fly (50.79).

DYLAN SMOLDERS, WEST CHESTER HENDERSON

A repeat DLN first team All-Area swimmer, the Warrior junior placed in the top 11at States in two individual events - he finished seventh in the boys 200IM (1:53.22) and was 11th in the boys 500 free (4:39.90).

JAKE WANG, CONESTOGA

Freshman finished sixth in the boys 100breast (56.99) at States, where he also was part of two relay teams that placed fourth and attained All-American considerat­ion (400free relay, 200 medley relay). Was Central League champion in 200IM and 100breast.

GARY WANG, CONESTOGA

A repeat DLN first team All-Area swimmer, the Pioneer junior finished ninth in the boys 100 fly (50.55) at Class AAA States, where he also was part of the fourth-place 200medley relay team (All-American considerat­ion). Was Central League champion in 100 fly.

RAYMOND WELGOSH, CONESTOGA

A repeat DLN first team All-Area swimmer, the Pioneer junior placed eighth in the boys 200free (1:41.91) at the PIAA 3A state meet, where he also was part of the fourth-place 400free relay (AllAmerica­n considerat­ion).

NICK HARRIS, MALVERN PREP

Junior diver, a two-time All American, posted a 6-dive score of 347.70on the Easterns Leaderboar­d, in first place by more than 100points. His 11-dive score of 539.70was first on the Easterns Leaderboar­d. He is being recruited by Texas, Cal, Indiana and Ohio State, among others.

KEVIN CARY, MALVERN PREP

Junior posted top seven times on the Eastern Leaderboar­d in every freestyle event, including 500free (third), 200free (fifth), 100free (sixth) and 50 free (seventh). He also swam the anchor leg of Malvern Prep’s 400free relay, which posted an All American time standard and is a top five time in Pennsylvan­ia and second on the Easterns Leaderboar­d.
