Faith Amanda Pennington

Faith Amanda Pennington, 51, of Oviedo, Florida, passed on December 16, 2020 at Advent Hospice of Altamonte Springs, Florida. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 19, 1968, she was the precious daughter of Maurice L., Jr and Barbara (Taylor) Pennington. Faith lived with her sons, Matthew Cole and Noah Daniel Larson in Oviedo, Florida.

Faith grew up in Unionville and Doe Run, Pennsylvania. Faith graduated from Unionville High School in 1987 and obtained her degree in elementary education and early childhood development at West Chester University, class of 1992. Faith was a schoolteacher in Florida for 28 years.

Faith was exemplary in her devotion to The Lord. She was a member of University Carillon United Methodist Church in Oviedo, Florida and was active in serving in the youth programs.

Faith is survived by her devoted brothers, Craig Lee (Athena) Pennington of Downingtown and Jeremy Nathaniel (Heather) Pennington of Glenside. Faith is pre-deceased by a brother, Eric Taylor Pennington. She is survived by two dear nieces: Hannah and Alexa and four wonderful nephews: Luke, Jackson, Colin and Tyler – all Penningtons.

Faith is the beautiful niece of Joanne and Francis Taylor of Kennett Square; Howard William Taylor (Lori) of Vancouver, WA; Daniel (Stephanie) Taylor of West Chester and Elaine Gochnauer of Summerville, South Carolina. Faith is also survived by special family friends, Marc and Leonie Brooks of Pottstown, and their children Allison and Joel.

Faith is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Jessie Magda Tyson (Oas) and Maurice Pennington, Sr. She is pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, Esther Amanda (Davidge) and Stuart Lattomus Taylor.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Toughkenamon Presbyterian Church in Toughkenamon, Pennsylvania on July 17th at 11:00 am. The service will be led by Faith’s cousin, Pastor Bill Taylor.
