Anna Abbonizio

Anna Abbonizio, age 99, of Media, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Anna was born October 5, 1922 in Wildwood, NJ. Wife of the late Nicolo Abbonizio who served in the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. Daughter of the late Venturo & Teresa (nee Matalussi) Tassoni. Anna belonged to the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Anna had 4 brothers & 4 sisters (all deceased); Adeline Icona of Chester, PA, Philip Tassoni of Folsom, PA, Edith Zarroti of Chester, PA., Dominick Tassoni of Folsom, PA., Bessie Juliano of Chester, PA., Jennie Yannascoli of Downingtown, PA., Fury Tassoni of Wildwood, NJ. & Herman Tassoni of Wildwood, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 35 Old Eagle School Rd, Strafford, Pennsylvania 19087. Following the viewing there will be a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Assumption from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM. Burial
