Jean Evelyn (Mercer) Stilwell

Jean Evelyn (Mercer) Stilwell, 87, of Honey Brook, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2022 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community. She was the beloved wife of the late

Gordon L Stilwell, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Born in Downingtown, she was the daughter of the late William Defoster Mercer and Mary Louise (Pyle) Mercer.

Jean was a resident, along with her late husband, of Downingtown for 62 years.

She is survived by four daughters; Linda Jones Schade of Ocean View, Hawaii, Nancy Doane (Bruce) of Coatesville, Susan Thompson (Randy) of Downingtown and Donna Russell (Scott) of Atglen, 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Services will be held on Monday May 16, 2022 at Tel Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344. Visitation and viewing is at 10:00 am funeral service is at 11:00 am, followed by interment at the Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA.
