Police search for duo robbing Pa. lottery skill machines
Upper Darby police are searching for two males who have been stealing from Pennsylvania Lottery Skills machines around the township in recent weeks.
The suspects enter a business, play the machines and then kick open the area of the machine where the currency is stored. The males then remove the cash.
Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said they’ve hit a car wash and a gas station.
Police posted photos on social media of the men. In the photos, the men are wearing distinctive clothing including an orange safety vest with the name McDon
ald Building Company. Another male is seen wearing a shirt with Mickey Mouse and the word Gucci on it. In both thefts, he is seen with facial hair and wearing ripped jeans. After breaking into the machines the men were observed leaving the area in a dark colored vehicle.
Police say several other departments are investigating similar thefts.
Anyone with information on the male’s identities are asked to email soicalmedia@udpd.org.
