Elizabeth (Betty) Dougherty

Elizabeth (Betty) Dougherty, 101, of Exton passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Born in Pittsfield, MA, to the late Patrick and Annie Carty Collins as one of ten children.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William and son, Bill. She is survived by her daughters: Diane (Thomas) Lutz of Chester Springs and Susan (Jim) Dougherty of Sapello, NM. She was the loving

grandmother of: James (Allison) Lutz and Anne (Simone) Lutz; devoted great grandmother of Zander Lutz; and beloved friend of Neal Baldwin and Dominic Silla.

Betty loved to cook, travel, visit with friends and play at word games.

Betty had a wonderful, lucky, long and active life, and will be missed tremendously by her extended family and friends.

Services will be private in light of ongoing concerns related to COVID-19.
