Man arrested after police find him with loaded gun following traffic accident
EAST GOSHEN » A West Chester man was arrested after police found him to be in possession with a loaded gun following a traffic accident.
On May 6, 2022 at 2:26 p.m. Westtown East Goshen Regional Police were dispatched to a three-vehicle traffic accident at the intersection of Airport Road and Wilson Drive in East Goshen Township. While on scene, investigating officers learned that a man was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm without a Pennsylvania Concealed Weapons Permit. Todd Szewczyk was arrested and transported to Central Booking to await arraignment for said charges. No injuries occurred in the traffic accident, police said.

Parkesburg Indecent exposure
Connor Davie Groff has been charged with Indecent Exposure and related offenses after Groff was observed in person and on video surveillance masturbating in the laundromat’s common area, May 6, just after 5:30 p.m. Police took Groff into custody without incident for multiple outstanding criminal warrants. A preliminary hearing is pending his release from prison. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Sergeant Ryan Murtagh (610-857-3535).
Oxford Terroristic threats
On Jan. 6, 2022 the Oxford Police were dispatched to the unit block of Myrtle Street for a report of a victim receiving threatening text messages. The victim showed officers messages that he had received from Jesse Cisson, 29, Of Oxford. Cisson was charged
with Terroristic Threats and Harassment and ultimately plead guilty to harassment at a preliminary hearing.
Fleeing and eluding
On April 20, 2022 at 9:36 p.m. the Oxford Police Department observed a vehicle traveling on North Third Street without its headlights on. A traffic stop was attempted in which the vehicle fled the pfficer at a high rate of speed. The vehicle committed multiple traffic violations while attempting to evade the officer. The operator of the vehicle, Odin Martinez Rodriguez, 22, of Oxford, eventually led officers to his residence where he was detained after attempting to hide inside. Martinez Rodriguez was arrested after failing Field Sobriety Tests and was transported by Constables to Chester County Prison.
Bench warrant
On May 8, 2022 the Oxford Police Department attempted a warrant service in the Unit block of Myrtle Street where contact was made with Grace Haggerty, 39, of Oxford, who was confirmed to have an active Chester County Bench Warrant. Haggerty was taken into custody and transported by Constables to Chester County Prison.
Harassment
On Feb. 10, 2022 the Oxford Police Department received a complaint from man that he was being harassed by another man. After further investigation it was determined that Kane Dennison-Gomez, 26, of Newark, Delaware, had been repeatedly sending threatening text messages to the victim after he had been advised by police not to have any further contact. Criminal charges have been filed and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
Warrant
On May 5, 2022 the OPD was dispatched to the Oxford District Court to make contact with a male subject who was believed to have an active arrest warrant. Contact was made with Derrick Lamont Mangum, 41 of Oxford, who was found to have a Chester County bench warrant and criminal arrest warrants from Coatesville City and Lincoln University Police Departments. Mangum was taken into custody and transported by Constables to Chester County Prison.
PFA violation
On April 29, 2022 the OPD was dispatched to the 400 block of Market Street for a domestic disturbance. The victim told officers that Aftab Gul, 29, of Oxford, had struck her and knocked her to the ground. The victim sustained injuries that were consistent with her statement of the events. Further investigation determined that the victim had an active Protection From Abuse Order from New York that prohibited Gul from having any
contact with her. Gul was arrested and transported to Chester County Prison to await a preliminary hearing at Oxford District Court and a PFA violation hearing in New York.
Kennett Square Terroristic threats
Keenan Collazo, 31, of Avondale, was charged with Terroristic Threats, Harassment and other related charges, following an incident where he allegedly sent threatening text messages and also damaged the victim’s vehicle. The incident occurred on April 29, 2022 at approximately 11:04 p.m., in the 300 block of East Linden Street, Kennett Square Borough. On April 30, 2022, Officers received an arrest warrant for Keenan Collazo, who was later taken into custody at his residence in Avondale, with the assistance of Southern Chester County Regional Police Department.
West Chester Forgery
On Jan. 26, 2022, the West Chester Police Department took a theft report at a residence in the 800 block of Guthrie Road, East Bradford Township, regarding a check. The victim placed a check in the mail in December of 2021, and the check never reached its destination. On the day the theft was reported, the victim
discovered the original check had been deposited
into an account she was unfamiliar with, and re-written to a different recipient. Through an investigation, it was determined that Kiesha Williams, 24, of Horsham, Montgomery County, had unlawfully possessed the check. In May of 2022, an arrest warrant was obtained for Williams. On May 9, 2022, Williams turned herself in to the West Chester Police Department on charges of Forgery, Access Device Fraud, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. Williams was processed then transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment. Bail was set at
$50,000 unsecured.
Westtown-East Goshen Retail theft
On Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:33 p.m., the WesttownEast Goshen Regional Police Department arrested Nicole Lynn Kirkendall of Newark, Delaware for committing numerous retail thefts. Kirkendall had committed numerous retail thefts in both Thornbury and Westtown Township. Kirkendall’s most recent theft totaled $1,810.55 worth of merchandise, police said.
