Teen arrested in connection with car thefts in East Goshen Twp.
EAST GOSHEN >> Police have arrested a teen male in connection with a rash of stolen vehicles in East Goshen Township.
On Dec. 17, 2022, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department investigated numerous stolen vehicle reports in addition to several theft from vehicle reports that occurred in the overnight hours in East Goshen Township. Patrol officers actively searched for several suspects as they fled from police via stolen vehicles and on foot.
At around 8:30 a.m., an observant resident noticed a suspicious male walking through a neighborhood that appeared to be avoiding an unrelated police incident nearby. With the assistance of West Goshen Township Police, the male was stopped and detained in the 1300 block of Boot Road, East Goshen Township.
As a result of an investigation, a 16-year-old juvenile male from Wilmington, Delaware, was arrested and charged in relation to the stolen vehicles and theft from vehicles. Police are actively investigating other suspects related to these incidents.

Kennett Square THEFTS
The Kennett Square Police Department is attempting to identify the pictured subject who was involved in two theft incidents last week. The incidents occurred on 12/16/22 in the 100 Block of Race Street. The first incident the subject pictured had cut a cable on the victim’s lock and stolen their wallet from a locker. The second incident which was reported later the same day, involved a victim’s wallet being stolen from their unlocked vehicle in the parking lot.
PORCH PIRATE
The Kennett Square Police Department is attempting to identify a thief who was caught on a ring camera in the 200 Block of South Union Street on Dec. 13 at approximately 9:13 a.m., stealing a package delivered from USPS. Police said the thief is a white male, wearing a red, Kansas City Chiefs hat, red jacket with a black, hooded sweatshirt underneath and blue jeans. In the video, the individual is seen bending down and pick up a package and then walking away northbound on S. Union Street.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT
On Dec. 13, 2022, officers received a report suggesting Adrian Rodriguez, age 37, of Kennett Square, violated certain conditions of a court ordered Protection from Abuse by allegedly having contact with an individual the court order established prohibited contact. A criminal complaint was completed and charges were filed.
State police, Avondale $7,000 THEFT
Police are investigating the reported theft of more than $7,000 from a 60-yearold Pennsbury Township woman. The woman paid the man to fix the roof of her house, but he never completed the work.
PURSE STOLEN
Someone broke windows out on two cars parked at Hoods BBQ on West Doe Run Road in East Marlborough on Dec. 17 and stole a purse from one of the vehicles.
