Charles R. “Charlie” Blosenski, Sr., age 75, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Mountz) Blosenski, sharing 58 years of marriage.

Born in Media, PA, Charles was a son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Donnelly) Blosenski, Sr. Charles grew up on a family farm in Honey Brook. During his childhood on the farm, the family collected trash to feed the pigs. This launched Charles into his 58-year ownership of Charles Blosenski Disposal Company. Charles still owns the family farm.

In his leisure time, Charles enjoyed visiting his hunting cabin in Montrose, PA. He appreciate­d antique cars and buying and selling trucks at auctions. Charles brought pleasure by watching the deer stroll through his backyard from his patio.

In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his children, Charles Blosenski, Jr., Lisa Huberty (Vincent) and Jeffrey Blosenski, all of Honey Brook; grandchild­ren, Tyler Huberty of OK and Trevor Huberty (Marissa) of Honey Brook; siblings, Joann Rice of Honey Brook, Leona Mountz (Larry) of Birdsboro and Michael Blosenski (Roxann) of Honey Brook; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph M. Blosenski, Jr. and Richard L. Blosenski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, PA, 19320 where family and friends will be received from 9:30 am until 12 pm. Interment will be held privately with the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made in Charles’ memory to St. Peter’s Church at the address listed above.
