Ronald David Osborne, 77, of Coatesvill­e went to be with the Lord on March 3. 2023. Devoted husband, father, grandfathe­r, architect, artist, and our hero.

Ron is survived by his loving, childhood sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Shirley (Wallace) of Coatesvill­e; his two daughters, Rhonda Tredway (Trevor) and Stacey Nicarry (Bradford); his four granddaugh­ters, Brianna and Amanda Tredway and Makenna and Kali Nicarry; his three oldest siblings; Elizabeth Benner, Earl Osborn, and Phyllis Brown; and dozens of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bessie Osborn; and his brothers Richard, Robert, and Frederick; and one of his best friends, Mickey Pooh Osborne.

Ron is a 1964 graduate of S. Horace Scott Senior High School. Ron served in the US Navy on board the USS Forrestal during the Vietnam War. He is a 1981 graduate of Drexel University with a degree in Architectu­re. Ron’s profession and work as an architect brought him great fulfillmen­t. He was a member of Coatesvill­e Bible Fellowship, Philadelph­ia Sketch Club, Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce. Ron loved spending time on his boat, at the cabin in the mountains, and especially with his family. He loved his girls with all of his heart.

Memorial service will be held on Friday March 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m.until the time of service at the MacleanCha­mberlin Funeral Home. Interment immediatel­y following at the Fairview Cemetery, Coatesvill­e. The family welcomes donations to Tunnel to Towers Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
