Louise F. Massey

Louise F. Massey, age 87, of West Grove, PA passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Twin Pines Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Massey who passed away in February 2021, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Born in Trade, TN she was the daughter of the late Lester and Grace

Snyder Greer.

She was a homemaker most of her life along with volunteering with the Avondale Fire Company. She and her husband, Bob, directed traffic for any occasion, accident etc. that came along. The two of them won many awards throughout the years including Citizen of the Year from West Grove Lions Club, Fire Police of the Year from the Commonwealth of PA and the Fire Police of the Year from Chester County.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane M. Cole and her husband, Steve Sr., of Toughkenamon, PA; one grandson, Steve Cole, Jr. and his wife, Nickie, of Toughkenamon, PA; and two great grandchildren, Brittnee Pannell and her husband, Joey, of Lincoln University, PA and Brandon Cole and his girlfriend, Coryn Coover, of Toughkenamon PA. She also has two sisters, Janice Wilson of West Grove, PA and Joanne Osborne of Ararat, VA. She was predeceased by one sister, Cecil-Lea Bidwell, of Quarryville, PA.

Louise’s family would like to thank the staff at Twin Pines for the excellent care she received over the years and most recent the care she was receiving from Willow Tree Hospice.

You are invited to visit with Louise’s family from 10:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday morning, March 28, 2023 at Foulk Funeral Home, 200 Rosehill Rd, West Grove PA. Her service will follow at 11:00. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery, Route 10, Oxford PA.

In lieu of flowers a contribution may be made in the name of Louise Massey to the Avondale Fire Co., 23 Firehouse Way, Avondale, PA 19311.
