Bobbles and Lace opens on High Street in West Chester

With a recently opened boutique in the borough, women will have a chance to shop for clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories, all in one spot.

Bobbles and Lace, the 1,000-square-foot shop, is at the former site of Kiki’s, and next to where Jane Chalfant was located for decades, at 125 N. High St.

Bobbles and Lace will feature private label goods, with high-end fashion at an affordable price, co-owner Crystal Gambardella said.

Gambardella takes care of the product in front of the house and brother and co-owner Hunter Gordon is the “brains,” Gambardella said.

The brother and sister are based in New England where nine stores in the chain are located. They fell in love with West Chester after they heard about it from Gambardella’s Berwyn based sister-in-law.

Gambardella talked about the joys of fashion.

“It’s a great way to express yourself,” she said. “I love being able to change with everything going on in your life.

“When I have a good outfit on, it changes the way I feel that day. Fashion should be fun.”

The Bobbles and Lace shop owner enjoys wearing a dress and heels, while carrying a little purse.

The shop will style every customer from head to toe. The staffers will bring shoes or jewelry directly into the fitting rooms.

Gambardella has worked in the business for seven years and independently owns the franchise shop with her brother.

Bobbles and Lace is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, go to www. bobblesandlace.com
