Two pizzerias bring new flavors to Hampton Roads

Daily Press (Sunday) - - The Sunday Break - By Matthew Korfhage Staff writer

Consider it a tale of two pizzas. During the early weeks of the pandemic, a pair of small, local pizza restaurants managed to open their doors in Hampton Roads. Each serves pies like few others in the region. And each is also nothing like the other.

The two restaurants, one in the Red Mill shopping center in Virginia Beach and the other in a Williamsburg antiques mall, are located on opposite sides of the Tidewater map. The pizzas they’re making would barely recognize
