COLLEGE WOMEN’S SOCCER No. 7 Duke stifles Virginia Tech

Caitlin Cosme hit a tie-breaking penalty kick in the 66th minute Friday, sending No. 7 Duke (3-1-2) to a 2-0 home victory over Virginia Tech (1-6). The game does not count in the ACC standings. The Hokies' Alia Skinner made eight saves. Duke had no saves and outshot Tech 22-2.
