Rahm fires 63 to contend at Zozo
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. — Jon Rahm shot a third-round 63 to play his way into contention entering today’s final round of the PGA Tour’s Zozo Championship at Sherwood Country Club.
Former VCU golfer Lanto Griffin, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, second-round leader Sebastian Muñoz, Ryan Palmer, Brian Harman, Tony Finau, Webb Simpson, Bubba Watson and Scottie Scheffler also were near the top of the leaderboard as play continued through press time.
Ally McDonald held onto the lead Saturday in the LPGA Drive On Championship-Lake Reynolds Oconee, shooting a 3-under 69 to take a one-stroke advantage into the final round in Georgia.
