Trustworthy leader Four more years

-

If you have wondered what Republican North Carolina state Sen. Bob Steinburg, District 1, has done for northeastern North Carolina for the past two years, you’re not alone. It’s time to say “goodbye Bob” and use your ballot to vote for someone with a history of action and advocacy for our community and our state: Democratic candidate Tess Judge.

If you’ve seen the Steinburg advertisements, then you have been exposed to a steady stream of deceitful smears and misrepresentations that are beneath the dignity of the office he holds. If he is willing to endorse such brazen dishonesty during a campaign, can you imagine what he does when there’s no one from the public watching?

Let’s clear things up. Judge supports the Second Amendment, the police, small businesses, and schools and teachers.

She has successfully run small businesses for more than 40 years and has been a leader in her church and on local and state boards. Judge will do the right thing for all the citizens in northeastern North Carolina: farmers, fishermen, police officers, schoolteachers, children, business owners, waitstaff and retail workers.

Steinburg’s campaign shows us that it is time to bring civility back to politics and elect a trustworthy leader such as Tess Judge, who has the character to do just that. She is a person of integrity. Faith is at the core of everything she does and every decision she makes. She is exactly what we need most.

Tuesday we will vote for leadership and the destination of our country. We don’t have to vote for men and women who we fully agree with. The dangerous potential outcomes of this election include, but are not limited to, more social programs and a lack of safety (physical, economic, national, to name a few).

Vote the way this country needs, for our government, which exemplifies the correct way to represent America and her citizenry, even though imperfectly. The media and others complain about our president because he doesn’t do things the way previous presidents did things. They complain about what he has been trying to do. Well, he said it before he was elected that he would be doing these things, so what is the uproar about?

It is refreshing, someone runs for office on certain issues, gets elected, then does what he said. How refreshing to vote for someone who does what he said.

The opponents are not used to this; they are used to the way all the others say one thing and do another. And that’s why other countries were not impressed by other presidents, and America lost its superiority. President Donald Trump’s in-depth understanding of the most common leadership issues, combined with his broad international leadership experience, can help our country accelerate growth more and improve efficiency while aligning strategic, cultural and country needs.
