-

Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 25 points and Jalen Hood-Schifino delivered the clinching basket on a dunk with 2 seconds left as No. 21 Indiana beat No. 1 Purdue 79-74 on Saturday in Bloomington.

Zach Edey finished with 33 points and 18 rebounds for Purdue.

The Hoosiers (16-7, 7-5 Big Ten) have won both of their home games against their archrival under second-year coach Mike Woodson. This was Indiana’s fourth total win at Assembly Hall over a top-ranked team.

A roaring, raucous crowd that stayed on its feet most of the game wasted no time storming the court after the final buzzer sounded. Hood-Schifino had 16 points for the Hoosiers, who have won six of seven.

The Boilermakers (22-2, 11-2) trailed by 16 points in the first half.

No. 2 Tennessee 46, No. 25 Auburn 43: Josiah-Jordan James had 15 points and 14 rebounds for the host Volunteers (19-4, 8-2 Southeastern Conference) in a game where every point was seemingly difficult and nothing flowed. The Vols shot 27% from the field and 9.5% from behind the 3-point line.

The Tigers (17-6, 7-3) were led by Johni Broome with 11 and K.D. Johnson off the bench with 10 points. Auburn only managed 24% from the field and 11% from long range.

Zakai Zeigler made two free throws for the day’s last points, and Wendell Green Jr.’s last-second 3-point try to tie clanked out.

No. 4 Alabama 79, LSU 69: Noah Clowney and Rylan Griffen led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points each to carry visiting Alabama to a victory over LSU.

Nimari Burnett and Mark Sears each had 13 points and Brandon Miller had 11 for the Crimson Tide (20-3, 10-0 SEC).

The Tigers (12-11, 1-9) have lost 10 straight.

No. 10 Texas 69, No. 7 Kansas State 66: Christian Bishop scored all 14 of his points in the second half, including the go-ahead lay-in with 37 seconds to go, and Texas rallied from a 14-point first-half deficit to beat Kansas State on the road.

Sir’Jabari Rice also had 14 points for the Longhorns (19-4, 8-2 Big 12), and his two free throws with nine seconds left forced the Wildcats (18-5, 6-4) into needing a 3-pointer to send the game to overtime.

No. 13 Iowa State 68, No. 8 Kansas 53:

Jaren Holmes scored 15 points and his former St. Bonaventure teammate Osun Osunniyi added 13 for the host Cyclones (16-6, 7-3 Big 12), who ended a two-game slide.

Jalen Wilson led the Jayhawks (18-5, 6-4) with 26 points for his sixth straight with at least 20. The Cyclones led for all but 1:14 of the game.

No. 11 Baylor 89, Texas Tech 62: Jalen Bridges had 18 points with eight rebounds, big man Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua played for the first time since a gruesome knee injury last season, and the Bears (17-6, 6-4 Big 12) won in Waco, Texas.

No. 14 Marquette 60, Butler 52: Tyler Kolek had 13 points and eight assists in Milwaukee as the Golden Eagles gained their fifth consecutive victory. Marquette (19-5, 11-2 Big East) has won 10 of its last 11 games.

Butler (11-13, 3-10) dropped its fifth straight despite getting 19 points from Jayden Taylor and 15 from Simas Lukosius.

Oklahoma State 79, No. 15 TCU 73:

Kalib Boone scored 25 points for host Oklahoma State (14-9, 5-5 Big 12), which blew a 19-point second-half lead before recovering to beat the depleted Horned Frogs (17-6, 6-4).

Caleb Asberry added 19 points and John-Michael Wright had 17 for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have won three straight and five of six to move back into the conversation for a potential NCAA Tournament berth. TCU has struggled since its leading scorer, Mike Miles Jr., suffered a hyperextended right knee just more than a week ago. TCU also was minus injured big man Eddie Lampkin Jr.

Adama Sanogo and Tristen Newton each scored 15 and Alex Karaban knocked down two late 3-pointers for the Huskies (18-6, 7-6 Big East) in Washington. Despite leading for most of the game, the heavily favored Huskies needed a late 8-1 run to earn a season sweep of the Hoyas.
