NORFOLK — Predicted order of finish as voted upon by MEAC sports information directors and coaches.

The three-time defending MEAC tournament champion Eagles return a nucleus of players from a team that became the first to win three straight tournaments since 1984.

With eight seniors, the Wildcats are loaded with experience.

With road games at Utah State, North Texas, Wake Forest and Illinois, the Aggies will be well-traveled and tested by the time the MEAC season starts.

The Spartans have 10 new players and lots of questions to answer in coach Rob Jones’ seventh season.

The Bulldogs lost three starters from a team that went 8-26 overall and 5-10 in the league.

With six freshmen and four sophomores, the Bison are young.

The Bulldogs return nine letter-winners, including top scorer Damani Applewhite.

Former Maryland and Georgetown assistant Kevin Broadus takes over a program that went 8-24 last season.

The Rattlers aren’t eligible for postseason after the NCAA handed down sanctions in May for ineligible players.

The Hornets return five letter-winners and two starters from a 6-25 team that went 2-14 in the MEAC.

Former G-League assistant Jason Crafton is in his first season coaching the Hawks, who went 7-25 last season.
