An easy out

Re: Oct. 25 column by Betsy McCaughey

Ms. McCaughney’s basic point is right. Many Democrats (and many Republicans and Independents also) would like to see President Donald Trump go. This is motivated by policy differences, mostly, although his ignorance and malevolence add motivation. So they are indeed looking for ways to make that happen.

Quid pro quo is not required. All they have to do is prove that he asked for foreign help in his election. He did so in public and admitted as such in public, too.
