Storylines: With new coach Delisha Milton-Jones at the helm, the Monarchs have their sights set on taking the next step. After graduating just two seniors, ODU has a strong veteran presence and the desire to get back to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2008. Juniors Amari Young (10.7 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 2.1 steals per game) and Ajah Wayne (10.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg) were both preseason All-CUSA selections, and senior Victoria Morris (11.8 ppg) is the leading returning scorer. Forward Maggie Robinson, who missed last season with an ACL injury, returns to the lineup, while Taylor Edwards (11.8 ppg) was among the graduation losses after last season.
