Trump policies
President Joe Biden should work in the interest of former President Donald Trump’s successes. Regarding the economy, Trump’s pro-growth policies increased the average middle class family’s income by about $4,000 in 2019 dollars, according to The Heritage Foundation’s Stephen Moore and Sentier Research, and cut their income tax by about $2,000.
The prior administration also created nearly 9,000 Opportunity Zones (deferred capital gains tax) in economically distressed communities which, over time, have attracted around $52 billion of new investment and created at least 500,000 new jobs. After the lack of progress of the left’s war on poverty, is it not time for a new approach?
Regarding health care, the so-called Affordable Care Act unaffordability and limited choices are not a long-term solution, and there is not an affordable, sustainable national health care model for a country as big and complex as the United States.
The free market is the most efficient at facilitating quality, and affordable and accessible health services to the most consumers.
Regarding COVID-19, there is little reason to think that Democrats could have handled the virus any better. The Trump administration launched Operation
Warp Speed, which resulted in an effective vaccine faster than the fastest prior vaccine development in American history.
Conservatives stand for realistic policies with results that promote freedom and prosperity for all over unrealistic
“feel good” policies and optics, and will continue to support elected officials (such as Rep. Rob Wittman) and candidates who advance such policies.
Unfortunately it is evident that these are not Biden’s priorities. If Biden and the Democrats stay woke, we’ll go broke, and it’s no joke.
