Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth: Closed the week of Nov. 22
Garbage
Chesapeake and Suffolk: Today’s collection will be picked up Friday. Friday’s collection will be picked up Saturday.
Norfolk and Virginia Beach: Today’s collection will be picked up Saturday.
Hampton: Nov. 26 collection will be picked up Monday.
Newport News: Today’s collection will be picked up Monday. All regularly scheduled collections for the week of Nov. 29 will be delayed one day.
Williamsburg: No changes to today’s collection.
York County: Starting today, collections will be delayed one day until all collections are completed on Saturday.
Travel
Hampton Roads Transit: Today:
bus and light rail service will operate on a Sunday schedule. The ferry will not operate. Administrative facilities, transit center information booths, and the Customer Service call center will be closed.
Friday: bus and light rail service will operate on a Saturday schedule. The ferry will run on its regular schedule. Administrative facilities and transit center information booths will be closed.
Post offices will be closed today with no regular mail delivery.
