‘New order’
The progressive movement’s fundamental goal is to transform the country into a “new order” — a society subservient to a large, centralized federal government defined by policies that embrace open borders, a woke culture and the censorship of free speech. President Joe Biden, their man in Washington, is a subservient facilitator. The movement is adept at guiding Biden toward its goal, carefully navigating him.
Hence, the plan to repeal Title 42, the rapid implementation of the net-zero carbon agenda, the formation of a Disinformation Governance Board ensconced within the Department of Homeland Security.
Biden knows repeal will cause an onslaught of immigrants. Many will be released into the country’s interior, potentially common criminals, drug smugglers, sex traffickers and terrorists. The movement, with Biden’s full cooperation, seeks to divert public attention away from our border crisis, escalating crime, ballooning inflation, an imminent recession and opposing ideas and commentaries — all interpreted as obstacles in the transition’s path.
If history is a reliable guide, rationality — not extremist ideology — ultimately decides the electorate’s actions and who serves in the country’s highest policymaking positions. The November midterm election is expected to produce a new congressional majority and a welcome beginning to the end of the transformation.
The general election that follows should produce a president committed to the transformation’s demise, ushering in much-needed relief from the movement’s destructive goal to impose its “new order.”
